The hotel's location right on the promenade is fantastic, offering breathtaking views of the sea, and the overall ambiance is quite relaxing. I found the staff to be very attentive and welcoming, which made a positive difference during my stay. However, the quality of the dining options left a lot to be desired—it felt outdated and didn't meet my expectations. Additionally, while my room was clean, the bed was uncomfortable and the shower was quite risky, fluctuating between extreme temperatures.

The twin room was small and poorly designed, with an uncomfortable bed and a shower that was either freezing or scalding hot.

The manager, Suzie, was lovely and worked hard despite feeling unwell, but the overall service in the dining area could have been more efficient.

I had a lovely stay at the Esplanade Hotel, as the breathtaking views and comfortable room were highlights for me. The food served in the restaurant was fantastic, and I truly appreciated the attentiveness of the staff. However, the noise from the terrace below during the night was quite disruptive and impacted my overall experience.

I enjoyed my stay overall, with stunning views of the Firth of Clyde and a cozy atmosphere that made for a pleasant experience. The room was spacious and clean, and the breakfasts were delicious and hearty. However, the lack of hot water on multiple occasions was a significant downside, and I was surprised by the unexpected costs associated with dining in the hotel. Despite these issues, the value for money was decent, especially considering the views and the comfortable accommodations.

My recent stay at the hotel was quite pleasant overall, with stunning views and great service standing out as highlights. The rooms were clean and comfortable, though they felt a bit dated in places. The dining experience, particularly the breakfast service, could use some improvements as it was slow and more variety would be appreciated. The hotel’s location is fantastic, with easy access to local attractions and beautiful gardens to enjoy.
